Marshall House
Marshall House is a luxurious, contemporary holiday villa located in the Caribbean British Virgin Islands, immersed in a tropical, lush palm garden set close to a turquoise beach. The project was created for a family with two children as a holiday destination and family retreat. The site combines the traditional setting of the villa amidst the enveloping greenery and the modernity of the building itself, with large, fully-open glazing offering incredible views of the surrounding nature. Despite the strong local, colonial architectural context, the developer was keen to create a space inspired by modern trends that blends harmoniously into its surroundings.

The originality of the solutions in the interiors is based on two main elements – the localised canopies marking out conventional zones and the gradient shading running throughout the lower floor from the ceiling downwards through all the materials. The innovative use of the gradient, adds a special character and colour to the place. Also prominent in the interior are the rounded doors and flowing lines, which give the concept a lightness and originality.
The design features furniture from renowned global brands such as Edra and Moroso, while minimalist lighting from Flos adds an extremely modern touch. The use of high-tech appliances from Gaggenau and audio equipment from Bang & Olufsen brings modern luxury and top-notch functionality to the interior.
Marshall House combines the tropical charm of a Caribbean village with the elegance of modern solutions, offering the perfect place for family relaxation in a harmoniously designed space by the standards of a modern urban villa.
