Alior Bank, Bank Branch

ALIOR BANK – the universal bank started its activity in 2008. The Bank addresses its offer to both individual and business customers. Alior Bank has created a fully internet bank and an internet banking currency exchange office. The bank examines new technologies, including blockchain, robo-advice and artificial intelligence.

Dynamically changing customer needs are one of the drivers of change in banking. It was thanks to them that Alior Bank introduced a new format of the branch, which meets the expectations of customers. It completely changes the way the customer contacts the bank outlet by maximising the comfort and functionality of the space used. Behind the project of the renovated branch at 35 Jana Pawła II Avenue in Warsaw, there is the optimization of processes, technological revolution and social responsibility. Creating a concept for a network of hundreds of branches raises the awareness that it has its environmental consequences, can have a good or bad impact on both the establishment and operation of the branches. If changes in our environment are inevitable, they can also be properly planned in this respect. The project of the Alior Bank branch goes much further in this direction than others in the industry, and the catalogue of these changes does not remain closed.

While working on the design of the new branch our concept design was accepted by the client on first direction, there was no changes during the proces in terms of searching several concepts. Together with the client we had several workshops during the brief stage and supported by design thinking proces.
