Palace in Zdrzewno - revitalization and expansion

The very dilapidated building of the Palace in Zdrzewno and, in fact, what’s left of it is sited on a vast but neglected site. Despite the persistence of its exterior facade, the building is almost completely destroyed inside. There are also few testimonies documenting its interior and the body of the palace itself, historically, has been altered, and expanded several times. The building is to be restored and adapted to modern hotel and apartment requirements. The building is subject to conservation protection.

The task was to harmonize the restoration part with the use of the fully emerging space inside, together with the addition of a fragment of the left wing and a magnificent orangery as the right wing, fully glazed left wing enclosing the inner courtyard under which an additional floor was placed.
